｜Nantou Transportation Guide (Sun Moon Lake, Xitou, Dongpu, Zhushan, Ruilong Waterfall)

To reach the major attractions in Nantou, it is recommended to use Taichung or Changhua as the transfer hub. Travelers can arrive via TRA or THSR and then transfer to the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle routes operated by Yuanlin Bus to reach their destination directly.

  • Walk through the connected corridor from THSR Taichung Station to TRA Xinwuri Station. Take a southbound TRA local train to Ershui Station, then transfer to the Jiji Line to Shuili Railway Station or Jiji Railway Station.
  • Then transfer to Dongpu Line (6732) or Dongpu Line (6734) to Dongpu.
